What game would you create if you could start with a sentence? 🎮
Google introduced Playground, an experimental platform for creating games with written instructions. Swipe to explore what it offers, the El Hormiguero case and what to check before calling a game finished.
The launch on 7 October 2026 is limited to users aged 18+ in the United States; creation access depends on your Google AI subscription. The practical example is illustrative. Antena 3 reports two separate creations: a game in an afternoon and a cartoon in 45 minutes. The source does not link them to Playground.
Complete: “I want a game where… and you win by…”.

Create a game just by describing it?
Google introduced Playground on 7 October 2026. Its approach lets you describe an idea and request changes to rules, characters and settings through written instructions. It is an experimental platform: the launch is limited to users aged 18+ in the United States, and creation access depends on your Google AI subscription.
On 30 September, Anas Andalouss presented a game based on El Hormiguero to David Bisbal. Antena 3 reports that he made it in an afternoon. The 45 minutes and five starting ideas referred to the cartoon. The report does not identify Playground as the tool or document the full creation process.
The carousel suggests an illustrative example: collect five stars and avoid obstacles. The useful part comes next: check whether winning is possible, what happens when you lose and whether restarting works. These are editorial recommendations, not the results of a personal test.
The Unity Spark integration was announced as work in testing. Future features should not be confused with what is already available.
What game would you invent, and what would its main rule be?
